Why I Do This Work
Since 2012, I’ve helped people find real relief from chronic and complex pain—without the “no pain, no gain” mindset so many have been told is necessary.
I believe your body is designed to heal. My role is to help you access that potential through the right support, input, and timing.
My Approach
My style is strategic, intuitive, and grounded in deep understanding of how the body works. I tailor every session to your specific needs—whether that’s gentle, targeted relief or more active body-based healing.
I use a range of evidence-informed tools like advanced fascia techniques, nervous system regulation, and restorative practices such as Yoga Nidra and MELT Method®.
A Bit About My Path
Before becoming a manual therapist, I worked as a trial lawyer. That background taught me how to ask better questions, dig beneath the surface, and think critically—skills I now bring into every session to uncover what’s driving your pain and how to shift it.
What Clients Say
Clients often tell me they feel truly seen, supported, and safe in a way they haven’t before. That’s not an accident—holding space for real healing is at the heart of my practice.
Brian
"Several teams of excellent physical therapists failed to provide any durable relief from the tightness and pain in my hips following surgery. Then I was lucky enough to find the amazing Anita Amato. She reduced the pain and gave me my mobility back. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is a true medical professional and a uniquely talented trigger point therapist!"
