More Than Pain Relief.
A Whole-Person Approach to Healing.
Â
Power of Touch Wellness was created to be a space where healing doesn’t just happen on the table—but continues long after you leave.
Whether you’re navigating chronic pain, recovering from injury, or simply feeling out of balance, we approach healing as a layered, collaborative journey between you and your body.
Our philosophy is simple:
Every body holds the potential to heal when given the right support, space, and care.

Support Beyond the Table
After your session, you will receive personalized recommendations to help you maintain results and feel empowered in your healing. This might include simple self-treatments, breathing techniques, nervous system regulation tools, or mindful movement—all tailored to fit your lifestyle.
Ready to feel better in your body? Whether you’re curious or committed, your path to healing starts with one step.

Owner | Power of Touch Wellness
Myofascial Therapist • Wellness Strategist • Educator
Since 2012, I’ve been helping people find real relief from chronic and complex pain—without the “no pain, no gain” mindset so many have been told is necessary.
My style is strategic, precise, and grounded in a deep understanding of how the body works. My touch ranges from incredibly gentle to appropriately moderate, depending on what your body needs. I don’t believe in beating the body into submission—I believe in working with it.
What sets my work apart is both depth and range. I'm continually expanding my skill set so that I can support more people in more ways—integrating advanced fascia techniques, nervous system regulation practices, Yoga Nidra, MELT Method®, cupping, kinesio taping, and more. I blend what’s needed in the moment, tailoring every session to you. I also share accessible self-care tools you can use between visits to keep the progress going.
Before becoming a manual therapist, I spent years as a trial lawyer. That background taught me how to ask the right questions, dig beneath the surface, and think critically—skills I now use every day to uncover what’s driving your pain and how to help it shift.
Clients often tell me they feel seen, heard, and supported in a way they haven’t before. That’s intentional. I care deeply about helping people feel better—not just during a session, but in their everyday lives. That’s why I teach effective, easy-to-use techniques you can practice at home to stay out of pain and take charge of your healing.
At the core of my work is this belief: your body is designed to heal. My role is to help you tap into that potential with the right input, the right timing, and the right support.

"Several teams of excellent physical therapists failed to provide any durable relief from the tightness and pain in my hips following surgery. Then I was lucky enough to find the amazing Anita Amato. She reduced the pain and gave me my mobility back. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is a true medical professional and a uniquely talented trigger point therapist!"
